Senior Production Supervisor

Our client stands as a global leader in automotive new plant manufacturing. They are currently enhancing their assembly manufacturing division and are in search of a Senior Production Supervisor to head a production team, elevating assembly processes, overseeing manufacturing parameters, and managing tool and machine parameters.

Location: Rayong
Salary: ฿60,000 ฿70,000 based on performance and qualifications, along with additional allowances
Reporting to: Senior Manager / Plant Manager

Responsibilities:

• Lead the assembly production plant, emphasizing safety, quality, and performance enhancement.
• Perform manufacturing engineering functions for special projects, production lines, cost reduction, and continuous improvement through analytical methods.
• Develop and implement cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods aligning with product specifications, safety standards, and quality criteria.
• Handle new production preparations, layout design, and review and enhance line capabilities.
• Analyze workforce utilization, space requirements, workflow planning, and design equipment layout for maximum efficiency and safety.
• Define labor management and manufacturing quality plans, and enhance communication for addressing manufacturing issues.
• Allocate daily production resources to support production plans and achieve target Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Lead troubleshooting and corrective/preventive action activities.
• Coordinate machine installation tasks.
• Focus on reviewing and enhancing safety protocols on the production line.
• Support, develop, and maintain documentation and procedures as per IATF16949 standards.
• Take charge of creating and reviewing Process Flow and PFMEA.
• Analyze and resolve machine, tooling, and other production process issues.
• Develop process flow charts, FMEA documents, Control Plans, and provide documentation support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related engineering field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Production/Process/Manufacturing Engineering, preferably in the Automotive Manufacturing Industry.
• Proficiency in Lean concepts, improvement techniques, or related methodologies is advantageous.
• Experience in production design, engineering specifications, assembly or machining processes.
• Knowledge of PLC assembly manufacturing processes and experience in shop floor management.
• Proficient in problem-solving, decision-making, and possessing strong analytical skills.
• Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Process Improvement, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in problem analysis tools.
