Assistant Supply Chain Manager

Company Overview:
Our esteemed client is a reputable multinational Automotive Manufacturing company with a new plant in operation. We are in search of a proactive and seasoned Assistant Supply Chain Manager to augment our workforce. The responsibilities for this position include supporting the Supply Chain Manager in overseeing the material and production control/planning team. The chosen individual will collaborate closely with warehouse, logistics, and transportation departments to enhance and streamline operational procedures.

Location: Rayong

Salary: The compensation ranges from ฿80,000 to ฿1000,000, contingent on experience, performance, qualifications, and additional competitive benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Supply Chain Manager in leading the master scheduler to maintain an efficient supply chain solution for Material Scheduling, Production Scheduling, and various planning projects.
• Supervise the flow of materials from suppliers to warehouse, production line, and final delivery to customers.
• Proactively strategize and communicate to ensure seamless assimilation of new parts into production.
• Optimize material flow, encompassing import and export calculations, to maximize space utilization and meet customer demands.
• Identify operational enhancements, cost reduction opportunities, and execute improvement strategies.
• Participate in new business ventures and projects, evaluating their repercussions on MP&L activities.
• Offer effective support to the supply department and ensure fulfillment of internal and external requirements.
• Analyze performance-related concerns, propose preventive measures, suggest efficiency enhancements, and cost-cutting strategies.
• Supervise the efficient compilation and management of information and data to foster growth.
• Ensure adherence to relevant laws, company policies, and regulations.
• Manage and refine expenditures related to packaging and shipping arrangements.

Qualifications:

• Education: Possession of a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Logistics Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience in Supply Chain, MP&L/PC&L, Logistics, Warehouse Operation Management, with at least 3 years at a managerial level in Automotive Manufacturing or similar sectors.
• Skills: Proficiency in implementing the Engineering Change Process, adept at setting and achieving goals, team leadership, coaching and development, robust problem-solving capabilities, adept at conflict management, exceptional English communication skills, and a strong communicator.
