Purchasing Officer

Responsibilities:

• Prepare purchase orders, approve payments, and negotiate prices to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly, under general guidance.
• Carry out Procurement processes, standards, and operational plans, including negotiation, preparations, and cost analysis.
• Support the purchasing function and other relevant departments and communicate any supply problems which may impact business operations.
• Liaise with sales team for corrective information on project selling and ensure timely delivery.
• Involve in clarifying and solving any issues/problems in case of insufficient goods for customer requirements.
• Strong sourcing ability and ensure qualified sourcing activity & procedures.
• Good teamwork and service mind.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or other related field.
• At least 3 years working experience in Purchasing, Logistics, freight-forwarding will be an advantage.
• SAP and MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint experience essential.
• Good command of English and computer literacy.
• Positive attitude, self-motivated, good team player, and initiative.
• Good interpersonal, service-minded, and presentation skills.
