English Language Instructor

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated English Language Instructor to join our team. As an English Language Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality English language instruction to students of various levels and backgrounds. Your passion for teaching, effective communication skills, and ability to create an engaging learning environment will be essential in helping students achieve their language learning goals.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver effective English language lessons based on the curriculum and learning objectives.
• Provide engaging and interactive instruction to students, incorporating a variety of teaching methods and materials.
• Assess and evaluate students’ language proficiency and progress using appropriate assessment tools.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of students.
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to support their language development.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters language learning.
• Monitor and track student attendance, participation, and performance.
• Collaborate with other instructors and staff to develop and improve curriculum, teaching resources, and assessment tools.
• Stay updated on current language teaching methodologies and incorporate them into instruction.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the overall improvement of the language program.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an English language instructor or similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Linguistics, Education, or a related field.
• TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification preferred.
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
• Strong knowledge of English grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
• Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for teaching.
• Ability to work with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends.
