Job Description
The Senior Services Sales Consultant is a vital Sales position within Sales Group and responsible of services revenue growth. The Sales Consultant is responsible for the growth and development of ATMaaS, Managed Services, System Integration services, Networking and Data Centre Services business in SEA region. As a sales specialist, he/she needs to work closely with the Account Managers/Director to succeed in their selling efforts and win large outsourcing deals throughout their customer accounts. As a specialist on outsourcing the candidate need to have a strong consulting approach and should be able to work his way through to CXO levels with ease.
The incumbent holding this position is expected to manage sales and business results in the territory as if operating his/her own business while acting in the best interest of the our client at large. This means continually growing the territory’s business within the Corporation, while helping the sales force to solidify, elevate and nurture relationships within key customer accounts and all members of support groups internal to our client. This is a quota carrying position and has lots of potential to grow in the organization based on their performance.
Objectives include attaining annual order, revenue, and profit objectives, driving new customer footprints, increasing sales productivity, increasing close rates, as well as attaining Services and Solution revenue and utilization results. The incumbent will have a Key responsibility to drive growth though large winning large outsourcing contracts. The incumbent will lead the solution’s efforts in identifying prospects by matching customer business objectives with Industry leading solutions, positioning how our client’s business solutions will help solve business problems, developing and executing winning sales strategies, and developing strategic account relationships. In addition, the incumbent will provide strong leadership in sales engagements, and provide feedback to senior leadership team
Key Responsibilities
- Be able to interact and understand customers outsourcing requirements like offering the best possible solutions on Managed Services, Data Centre Services and networking Technology Solutions (Cloud computing, Security, Wireless, Unified Communications, and / or Data Center focused)
- Keep up to date on cutting edge technologies and upcoming solutions around IOT, Cloud, Big Data and Analytics.
- Be a trusted Consulting Expert for key enterprise clients and partners within APAC region.
- Keep up to date on relevant competitive solutions, products and services.
- Provide technical and sales support for accounts across assigned region
- Perform technical presentations for customers, partners and prospects.
- Design the solution and its BOQ along with the Pre-sales consultants.
- Provide leadership in system hardware/software specifications, network infrastructure, wireless, security and voice designs.
- Share knowledge with colleagues to raise team’s collective expertise.
- Maintain high quality Vendor relationship with all partners like Schneider, Cisco, Juniper, EMC, Dell and Genesis
Qualifications & Skill set
- Bachelor’s degree minimum required.
- Preferred 7+ years’ experience selling and designing Managed Services and Networking Solutions within South East Asia region.
- Strong expertise in Managed Services, Outsourcing, Networking, Data Center and Security solutions.
- In depth awareness and understanding of the services market and related competition
- Strong Pre-Sales Solution Selling skills and networking solutions experience
- Additional Data Center expertise is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical discussion, drill down on technical details and can facilitate and coverage technical discussion with diverse opinions.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Commercial awareness/experience and technical IT knowledge
- Ability to think conceptually and to design practical, cost-effective solutions
- Team player – ability to lead teams and work with as a team player, self-motivated, creative and flexible
- Experience in developing and executing sales strategies
- Spoken and Written Fluency in English and any other regional language from APAC countries would an added advantage.
