IT Project Manager

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated IT Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams in delivering impactful IT projects. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the full project lifecycle, from planning and execution to successful delivery. You’ll manage resources, schedules, and budgets, while proactively identifying and mitigating risks and issues. You’ll also play a key role in driving continuous process improvement to enhance project delivery. For our Senior Project Managers, there will be opportunities to coach and mentor junior staff, helping them grow their project management capabilities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to clearly define project scope, objectives, dependencies, and timelines.
• Accurately estimate and effectively manage project resources and costs to achieve objectives.
• Prepare and track project budgets, including financial and procurement documentation for vendor contracts.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans for all project phases in collaboration with project teams.
• Guide teams in finding relevant solutions and coordinating with related departments.
• Oversee backlog prioritization, resource utilization, and change management processes.
• Organize and facilitate project meetings (e.g., sprint grooming, planning, progress updates, demos, deployments), documenting key summaries, issues, and actions.
• Monitor, track, and control project progress, actively resolving issues, blockers, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables.
• Ensure project quality for both functional and non-functional aspects, adhering to defined standards.
• Communicate project status updates, including milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues, along with proposed mitigation plans to stakeholders.
• Build and motivate project teams to achieve project goals, ensuring adherence to responsibilities and milestones.
• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement and conduct project/sprint retrospectives to continuously enhance processes and team quality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information System, or a related field.
• 3-7 years of experience in IT project management, IT software delivery, or IT consulting.
• Solid knowledge of fundamental Project Management processes, methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP or Agile) are a plus.
• Experience in Software Project Management within the Banking, Financial, or Insurance Industry is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to foster teamwork and collaboration to achieve project goals.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
