Head of Information Technology Department

Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Information Technology to lead and manage all aspects of our IT operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing IT strategies, managing IT projects, ensuring IT service delivery, and supporting the organization’s overall business objectives.

Salary Range: ฿100,000 – ฿150,000 per month (or negotiable)

Responsibilities

IT Strategy & Planning:

• Develop and implement strategic plans for MIS functions aligned with organizational goals.
• Prepare and execute annual master plans and actionable steps for IT operations.
• Formulate and manage the annual IT budget, ensuring cost efficiency and savings.
• Establish and maintain IT organizational structures and processes.
• Develop and enforce procedures for IT team operations.
• Create and implement policies governing user access to IT servers and services.
• Define and track annual KPIs and job descriptions for IT personnel.

IT Services Management:

• Design and manage IT service delivery and operations.
• Oversee supplier and vendor management to ensure service quality.
• Manage IT knowledge resources, documentation, and sharing practices.
• Handle problem management to resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for IT services.

IT Project Management:

• Prepare preliminary contracts and comprehensive project management plans.
• Manage project changes and risks to minimize disruptions.
• Conduct cost estimations and apply value engineering practices.
• Develop and monitor project schedules.
• Oversee deliverables and ensure effective document control.
• Implement project progress reporting mechanisms.
• Coordinate activities and enforce site safety standards.
• Ensure all projects meet established quality standards.
• Organize and manage multidisciplinary teams, including subcontractors.
• Provide expert advice on project management best practices.

Information Management:

• Collect, clean, transform, and process organizational data.
• Develop business intelligence and data warehouse (DWH) solutions.
• Generate operational and supervisory reports.
• Act as a central information hub for middle management.
• Design and maintain operational dashboards for performance monitoring.

Infrastructure & IT Support:

• Manage server operations and maintenance.
• Oversee network infrastructure and performance.
• Maintain databases and ensure data integrity.
• Provide comprehensive IT support to end-users and internal systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or related disciplines.
• IT Expertise: Over 10 years of professional experience in IT-related fields, with a strong track record of implementing and managing technology solutions.
• Leadership Experience: At least 10 years of experience managing teams, including recruitment, mentorship, and performance evaluation.
• Project Management: At least 6 years of experience leading complex IT projects, including planning, execution, and delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
