Senior BD Advisor (Legal)

Responsibilities:

• Provide advice on all legal aspects regarding energy project investments (Development of Greenfields and Brownfields, M&A, due diligence), in Asia-Pacific and, as the need may arise, beyond.
• Draft, review, revise legal contracts, letter of agreements or legal documentation.
• Draft and review project contracts to ensure optimal benefits to the company.
• Advise solutions to complicated legal contractual issues.
• Advise project teams to ensure compliance with project terms and conditions in relation to energy project.
• Provide effective contractual risk management and promoting the company’s interests.
• Develop, maintain, coordinate, including negotiate and interface with internal departments (BD, Finance etc.) and external parties who are related to the company business.
• Provide legal advice to ensure that the company’s business development activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s and master’s degree in Law
• Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in business/transaction law practice.
• Experience in an international law firm, or a multinational energy company would be an advantage
• Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is preferred, but not required.
