Head of IT Planning (IT)

Salary: ฿180,000-฿220,000

Job Description:
The Head of IT Planning and Portfolio Management will work closely with management, staff, and other departments to assess, document, and budget potential projects. This role involves overseeing project commencement and prioritization, performing project resource planning, continuous monitoring and reporting on project status, participating in the department’s change management process, and playing an integral role in the annual capital budget process.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the corporate PMO, tracking all major non-Business as Usual projects across the organization
• Centralize project data including resources, finance, and procurement
• Undertake project portfolio planning and analysis, including detailed project plans and business requirements
• Provide input into the design and creation of new product/service developments
• Monitor and control project plans, assign responsibilities, and ensure projects are adequately resourced
• Identify, track, manage, and mitigate risks within projects
• Oversee project progress and performance, adapting plans as needed
• Prepare materials for submission to the IT Steering Committee and management team
• Provide guidance and coaching to novice project managers
• Assist in providing end-to-end project management, from business case development to implementation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science/Engineering or relevant field
• At least 10 years in PMO/Program management
• Experience in Agile and Waterfall software development cycles
• Thorough understanding of project lifecycle and portfolio management
• Strategic thinking and ability to align tactical work with corporate strategic vision
• Excellent business writing, presentation, and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Project, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
• Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills
• Experience in implementing International Standards (ISO, COBIT, PMI)
