Production Manager (Construction)

About the Role:
Reporting directly to the Factory Manager, the Production Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing production processes, optimizing efficiency, and ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance. This position offers an exciting challenge in a fast-paced, ever-evolving manufacturing environment.

Salary: ฿120,000 – ฿150,000 plus Allowances

Key Responsibilities:

• Safety and Compliance: Promote and enforce strict adherence to occupational safety, health, and environmental standards. Lead by example in creating a safe and compliant workplace. Regularly review and report any safety hazards, defective machinery, or unsafe working conditions, ensuring corrective actions are taken swiftly.
• Operational Excellence: Monitor daily production performance, analyzing key metrics such as production volumes, downtimes, waste, and rates. Take proactive actions to ensure optimal efficiency and consistently meet production goals.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives (CI) to boost operational efficiency and product quality. Implement lean manufacturing principles, including 5S, and waste reduction strategies. Participate in preparing business operations plans within the continuous improvement framework.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead, train, and mentor a high-performing team of shift leaders and production operators. Conduct competency assessments, gap analysis, and create individual development plans (IPD).
• Collaboration Across Departments: Work closely with logistics to coordinate production schedules, ensuring timely deliveries. Collaborate with maintenance to prevent equipment breakdowns and minimize production disruptions.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure finished products meet all required specifications. Address customer complaints and claims, and implement corrective actions.
• Cost Management: Analyze monthly production variable costs, identify areas of waste or inefficiency, and take corrective actions. Optimize the use of raw materials and production processes to reduce costs while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, Ceramic, or Electrical Engineering preferred).
• Experience: At least 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in the construction materials industry or within a multinational company is highly desirable.
• Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to build, motivate, and develop teams in a high-performance culture.
• Communication: Fluent in both Thai and English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Familiarity with SAP is a plus. Knowledge of ISO standards, lean manufacturing, 5S, and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) practices is essential.
• Problem Solving: A proactive, positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
