Job Purpose/Overview:

This role is crucial in understanding consumer behavior and preferences within the Emerging Asia markets to drive product and packaging development, product strategies, and marketing strategies. The Market Research Executive will utilize various consumer research techniques, including Consumer Technical Insight (CTI) and Product Performance Programs, under the guidance of the EA PPG & CTI Manager. The focus is to contribute to business growth by creating a “Superior Pet Parent Experience.” Responsibilities include ensuring proper product preparation for Home Use Tests and Consumer Research, coordinating sample logistics, managing test results, and developing competitor intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive CTI consumer research to generate accurate and reliable results, providing recommendations based on research outcomes and insights.
  • Collaborate with project owners, CMI, and research agencies to schedule, deliver, and prepare products (including repacking, labeling, and export logistics) for Home Use Tests and Consumer Research, managing agency relationships effectively.
  • Monitor competitor product activity in the market and recommend product and packaging improvements.
  • Analyze data from diverse sources (trends, internal/external research, social media, customer feedback, product usage) to generate actionable insights.
  • Manage record-keeping and database maintenance of results and reports from CMI or external partners.
  • Develop and maintain a competitor intelligence database.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping for sample preparations.
  • Ensure co-packing adheres to GMP standards and staff follow work instructions to guarantee high-quality product samples for Home
  • Use Tests and Consumer Research.
  • Coordinate test plans and sample logistics for Home Use Tests or Consumer Research based on defined plans and guidance from the
  • EA CTI/PPG Manager and CMI.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field; Science or Animal Science preferred.
  • Must have FMCG background.
  • 3+ years of experience in consumer research and project management.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Fluent in English communication.
  • Marketing or Development field background is beneficial.
