Manufacturing Manager (Engineering)

Salary: ฿150,000 – ฿170,000 based on performance, with other competitive allowances

Our client, a world leader in the development and manufacturing of innovative automotive parts and components, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead their dynamic team.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the Manufacturing and Engineering departments, ensuring they meet all required standards and business objectives.
• Planning and executing capital and process development projects, including vision, strategy, and process design. Your focus will be on safety, productivity, and operational performance improvement.
• Overseeing the installation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of production lines.
• Managing contractors and ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations.
• Coordinating and directing projects, setting detailed plans, and overseeing technical activities.
• Analyzing technology trends, resource requirements, and market demands to assess project feasibility.
• Planning and directing the installation of testing facilities and equipment.
• Providing leadership on product design and change management processes.
• Recruiting, developing, and managing a team of talented engineers.
• Developing and implementing policies, standards, and procedures for the engineering department.
• Performing administrative tasks such as reporting, budgeting, enforcing rules, and making procurement decisions.
• Reviewing and recommending contracts and cost estimates.
• Setting scientific and technical goals aligned with company strategy.
• Championing safety by actively participating in safety initiatives and ensuring compliance with HSE regulations.
• Collaborating with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.

Qualifications:

• Thai Nationality a must.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related engineering field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in multinational automotive, component, or vehicle manufacturing companies.
• Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in overall manufacturing engineering or product engineering within the automotive industry.
• Strong understanding of design techniques, tools, and principles for creating precise technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
• Proven ability to handle pressure and manage complex projects effectively.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
