Financial Analyst (Senior Accounting)

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Financial Analyst with a strong accounting background to join our dynamic team in Thailand. This role plays a crucial part in supporting the organization’s financial health and strategic direction. You will leverage your accounting expertise and analytical skills to provide valuable insights and contribute to the organization’s growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Alignment:

• Support the development and implementation of the Corporate Office’s direction and strategy.
• Effectively communicate organizational and departmental strategies to ensure alignment and drive growth across business lines, profits, and work process efficiency.

Financial Analysis & Reporting:

• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with the overall strategy.
• Collect, track, and verify budgeting data within designated timeframes.
• Analyze financial reports and identify potential business risks, evaluating plans related to costs and operations to forecast future trends.
• Prepare comprehensive business analysis reports for use in decision-making, planning, and forecasting business events.
• Prepare and analyze quarterly and annual financial statements, including budget plans, MTP (Medium Term Plan), and investment budgets.
• Manage outstanding account information and ensure its timely delivery to the accounting department.

Process Improvement & Efficiency:

• Continuously monitor internal and external factors impacting the organization, propose adjustments to the departmental action plan to address critical situations.
• Promote and support the development of organizational work efficiency by establishing guidelines and utilizing systems and reports to verify data accuracy and efficiency.
• Foster collaboration across departments for continuous improvement, upgrading work processes to support future opportunities and mitigate risks.

Collaboration & Problem-Solving:

• Provide sound advice and coordination regarding accounting, finance, and related matters.
• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve the organization’s goals efficiently.
• Participate in problem-solving discussions, offering suggestions for operational challenges.
• Support information needs of various departments upon request.

Planning & Budgeting:

• Actively contribute to efficient planning and budgeting processes within the organization.
• Prepare and analyze quarterly performance estimates.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Perform other duties as assigned, including administrative tasks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial analyst role, preferably with a focus on senior accounting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial modeling tools.
• Experience with accounting software systems is a plus.
• Understanding of Thai accounting principles (Thai GAAP) is preferred.
• Fluency in Thai and English languages is required.
