Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Systems Engineer to join our team. As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for leading, consulting, and supervising staff for troubleshooting various network, system, and security devices. You will review problems, prevent issues, and provide consultations to customers as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading, consulting, and supervising staff for troubleshooting
- Reviewing problems, preventing issues, and providing consultations
- Configuration and maintenance of network, system, and security devices (e.g., Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortigate, Microsoft, O365)
- Providing support and troubleshooting to resolve issues following service level agreements
- Generating monthly reports for customers, supervisors, and project managers
- Working under pressure and handling tasks assigned by supervisors
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field
- Experience in an Internet Service Provider or Managed Service business
- Previous work experience as a Systems Engineer or solid background in system administration and architecture
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft solutions, vSphere, vCenter, and storage
- Understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF)
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, WSUS, Exchange, Office365 administration and troubleshooting
- Experience with operating systems (Windows client/server, Linux, VMware) administration and troubleshooting
- Good English communication skills
- Strong problem-solving, communication, leadership, and mentoring skills
- Familiarity with MS Exchange, MS Teams, and virtualized technologies (VMware and Citrix) is a plus
- Experience in AWS, Office 365, and Airwatch is advantageous
- Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools (e.g., Zabbix, SolarWinds)
- Experience with antivirus solutions such as Symantec and Trend Micro, administration, and troubleshooting
- Experience with cloud services (AWS and on-premise), backup services (Veeam, Symantec, Veritas), proxy, CUCM, and voice
- Certifications such as MCSA/MCSE/AWS SysOps Administrator, CompTIA Security Plus (CompTIA Sec+), CCNA are preferred
