Production Manager (Automotive)

Position Overview

We are seeking a high-energy, strategic Production Manager to lead our automotive manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products are produced and delivered according to strict standardizations, leveraging strategic execution to meet and exceed company goals. You will champion efficiency, quality, and safety while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Excellence & Delivery
Production Planning: Ensure products are produced and delivered on time, meeting customer needs and quantity requirements.
Cost Management: Maintain competitive production costs and manage the annual budget according to corporate planning.
Resource Management: Prepare and update manpower plans and approve employee attendance to ensure optimal staffing levels.

Quality & Compliance

• Standards & Systems: Maintain and improve quality systems to ensure consistent product excellence.
• Regulatory Adherence: Ensure strict compliance with company rules, safety regulations, housekeeping, and 5S standards.
• Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify areas for process optimization and quality enhancement.

Leadership & People Development

• Team Coaching: Provide training and coaching to ensure best practices are followed and developed across the team.
• Competency Building: Evaluate and develop employee competencies to prepare the workforce for new developments and career growth.
• Discipline & Integrity: Maintain a high standard of personal and professional integrity; take necessary actions regarding policy violations.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering is preferred.
• At least 5 years experience specifically within the Automotive sector.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of IATF 16949, ISO 9001:2015, and ISO 14001.
• Communication: Excellent command of written and spoken English (ability to communicate effectively with expatriate management).
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and organize large teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Skills: Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills; assertive and self-starting.
