Assistant Accounting Manager

Salary: ฿140,000 – ฿170,000 plus Allowances

About the Role:
Our client, a prominent multinational manufacturing and trading firm conveniently located near Bangkok’s MRT, seeks a skilled Assistant Accounting Manager to oversee critical financial operations. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, tax compliance, and team management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting:
• Prepare and analyze comprehensive financial statements for manufacturing and holding companies.
• Ensure timely delivery of financial reports to the Group, adhering to strict deadlines.
• Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate efficient and timely financial audits.
• Tax Compliance:
• Maintain meticulous adherence to all relevant tax laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Oversee VAT and withholding tax compliance.
• Prepare and file semi-annual and annual corporate tax returns.
• Manage monthly corporate income tax accruals.
• Support annual tax submissions and handle deferred tax details.
• Conduct regular bank reconciliations.
• Team Management:
• Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to team members.
• Foster a positive and efficient work environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience in a multinational, trading, or manufacturing company.
• At least 3 years of experience in people management.
• Strong proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Fluency in both Thai and English.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
