System Engineer (Zabix Engineer)

Job Description:

• Design and implement data and systems integrations with network monitoring product such as Zabbix or Cacti.
• Develop, Maintaining Zabbix installation, Zabbix user interface and dashboard display and Implement utilizing SMNP protocol.
• Maintaining runbooks with respect to monitoring systems and Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering and AIOps concepts.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree of Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or Telecom Engineering

Experience:

• Experience between 2-10 years.
• Experience with one of monitoring tools especially Zabbix, Netflow, Cacti, Manage Engine, Big brother, HPOV, What’s up gold.
• Work with networking and routing protocols such as TCP/IP, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, etc., Network Management tools, such as
• Cisco Prime, and event message formats, such as SNMPv3 Traps, SYSLOG, and Log-Files.
• Responsibilities for this position will include:
• Should have strong and Experience in design and implementation of data and systems integrations with Zabbix.
• Should have strong and Experience/understanding of the Windows WMI and WinRM protocols.
• Strong and Experience with PERL Script development using API interface, using software version control systems such as Subversion.
• Experience with Linux/Unix shell scripting skills, Perl, Python, JavaScript, REST and/or HTML programming (e.g., HTML, XML, or CGI), backup and replication, database and ELK stack, Wep application, System Architecture, loadbalancing , log analysis, caching.
• Familiarity with how large IT environments are set up across On premise and Cloud datacenters.
• Ability to develop automation scripts to enhance and implement automated health checks.
• Well-practiced troubleshooting methodology and Ability to maintain calm and patient attitude under pressure.
• Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift frequently.
• Ability to communicate design, installation, and support of a solution through documentation.
• Good communication in English language.

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with how large IT environments are set up across On premise and Cloud datacenters.
• Ability to develop automation scripts to enhance and implement automated health checks.

Certificates:

• Zabbix Administration and Window certification.
• Linux certification such as Linux Professional Institute (LPI).
• Active Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
