Summary:
The Senior Developer role within the Aloha Development team in Thailand involves coding for cloud-based Financial Services applications, primarily focusing on a MEAN architecture. The role requires proficiency in TypeScript, non-relational data structures, container-based DevOps, and working within distributed Scrum Teams.
Main Responsibilities:
- Code software changes based on design specifications.
- Perform thorough unit testing on all relevant platforms.
- Inform manager on project progress and identify risks early.
- Collaborate with team members and demonstrate a proactive problem-solving approach.
- Practice continuous integration, test-driven development, and adhere to coding standards.
- Share knowledge and experience with others.
Skills:
- End-to-end development experience with TypeScript, NodeJS, Nest.js, Angular.
- Developing and consuming RESTful Web APIs, NoSQL database design, and programming.
- Automated testing of RESTful APIs and UI; familiarity with SOA/Microservices.
- Experience in Agile methodologies, fast-paced environments, and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills.
Nice to have:
- Docker, Kubernetes, MongoDB, GraphQL, Front-end unit testing.
Educational Qualifications:
Four-year college degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
