R&D Engineer (Technical Center)

Description:
We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer to join our Technical Center at a leading automotive company, specializing in the Research and Development field. As an R&D Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and development of assigned vehicle parts throughout the entire process. Utilizing CAD programs such as CATIA, Solid Works, or NX, you will create 3D and 2D designs of vehicle parts and visualize the development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct feasibility studies, design, test, and evaluate vehicle parts, addressing any challenges that arise during the development process.
  • Prepare comprehensive vehicle development documents including specifications, part lists, ECIs, and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate effectively with customers and suppliers to drive project success.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.

Experience: 1-5 years of experience in the R&D field is preferred. Experience in vehicle electrical design or manufacturing of vehicle parts is advantageous.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in using CAD programs, particularly CATIA, is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate in Japanese is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and strong communication skills in English are required.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and work on-site in the Samut Prakan area.
