Production Supervisor (Plastics)

Responsibilities:
• Understand the process technology, equipment, and control strategies for all units. Become the technical expert for assigned areas of the plants.
• Work with the various Operations personnel and teams to ensure that the plant and Business goals for assigned areas are met.
• Solve, think, analyze and prevent problems in production
• Controlling production for efficiency and waste reduction according to the target
• Control the quality of products to meet the specified standards.
• Planning the use of machinery, manpower and raw materials
• Develop production work to make products in accordance with customer needs
• Conduct quality activities of the production department various quality systems organized by the company
• Other tasks assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/related discipline or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years Production Engineer or related experience with 2 years of experience working with plastic injection molding
• Experience working with injection molding equipment vendors required, preferably within the PET industry
• MS Office proficiency, specifically MS Project and MS Excel
