Procurement Department Manager
Responsibilities:
- Control and monitor stock inventory to ensure minimum stocks are kept and lead-time require for restock to assist procurement process to satisfy production plan
- Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements
- Facilitate and lead sourcing projects, supplier negotiation, contracting of business and establishment and maintenance of supplier relationships and drive maximum value from these relationships
- Deliver annual cost savings target to support the achievement of business objectives.
- Monitor forecasts and quotas to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities
- Communicate the procurement business strategy with the business, ensure consistent execution of the Business Procurement Strategy and secure continuity of business
- Engage all stakeholders to ensure Procurement policy and practices alignment.
- Review production notice received from Sales Department to forecast procurement plan
- Train subordinates are aligned with the requirement in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics management, business or related field
- Minimum eight years of proven procurement experience in Managerial level
- Excellent communication skills in Thai, and Proficiency in English
- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives related to procurement
- Working Knowledge in MS Office, Word, Excel, Power point, SAP
