Plant Quality Manager (Automotive)

Country Quality Manager

Salary: ฿150,000 – ฿180,000 based on performance, with other competitive allowances

Our client is the world leader of growing and Innovative Company in Automotive part and components manufacturing. Now they are looking for Plant Quality Manager to be a proactive member of the Senior Management Team and Lead Material, In-Plant and Suppliers Quality Improvement initiatives and systemic implementation of the quality tools and methodology.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for leading the QA team to carry out daily quality control and assurance function and define specifications to fulfill customers’ expectation;
• In line with corporate vision, defines and implements Quality Strategy, define quality objectives fully in line with corporate objectives.
• Responsibility for all Quality Management Quality Standards productivity, and continuous improvement.
• Provide Quality leadership and knowledge to the Regional Management team and the country level teams Quality Management Standards productivity, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure team is leading and coordinating Quality Assurance activities in accordance with defined strategies and targets.
• Ensure that Quality System is established, implemented, and maintained in accordance with Global Quality System Requirements.
• Prepare, manage and control the department budget that meets or exceeds plant goals and objectives.
• Communicate business objectives and demands to suppliers, together with the quality team.
• Drive for continuous improvement by implementing up-to-date quality standard to comply with customer requirements
• Direct Advanced Product Quality Process (APQP/PPAP), Monitor and maintain TS Quality Operating System requirements.
• Propose the testing plan, tester specification, inspection procedure and sampling plan;
• Lead and perform the failure analysis to find root causes and provide solutions 8D report for any customer complaint and communicate with customers frequently;
• Deliver accurate and timely quality assurance analysis report to management and customers;
• Responsible for cost consciousness related to expenses
• Develop and implement tools and practices as needed to achieve quality objectives.
• Oversee process capability studies and quality audits, Perform normal management tasks of organizing, motivating, communicating and measuring department personnel activity.
• Perform quality planning for new programs and new program quality.
• Work and manage the team in accordance with the regional processes, The Group policies, the Code of Conduct and the Global Way.

Qualifications & Background:

• Thai National only, Bachelor degree or higher in related Engineering.
• At least 10 years total work experience in Multinational Automotive, component or vehicle makers.
• Minimum 5 years in managerial level of Quality Manager or Plant Quality Manager Automotive Supplier Quality Manager, experiences with regional quality project is an advantage.
• Leadership – Energetic, Self-confident & self-driven, People Management, Business mindset – Understanding of Automotive business and role of quality in business result
• Defining, deploying, tracking & driving of Quality KPIs
• Supplier relationship management, ability to get info and tasks done outside the chain of command
• International exposure – working with globally people and Suppliers Automotive Quality Fundamentals, Quality Management – System and Process, QMS, APQP, IQC, Process audit, Product audit, Project readiness and product Launching, Quality improvement,
• Planning & prioritizing
• Must be able to handle stressful/pressure situations in a professional manner.
• Reporting & Presentation skills Good command of English both written and spoken
