Our client, a well-known multinational Retail and Consumer Products Company, is seeking an experienced and strategic IT Business Solution Senior Manager to lead their digital transformation journey. This role is pivotal in driving the roadmap for both SAP and Non-SAP solutions, ensuring cost-effectiveness, best-in-class solutions, and aligning local strategies with global and regional IT initiatives. You will provide thought leadership and maintain the company’s position at the forefront of digital developments.
Salary: ฿150,000 – ฿200,000
Key Responsibilities
As the IT Business Solution Senior Manager, you will be the primary project manager and thought leader for significant IT initiatives, acting as a crucial link between business needs and technological solutions.
Project Leadership & Digital Transformation
- Lead and develop IT projects and IT Business Solutions, serving as the primary Project Manager to drive the implementation of multi-infrastructure and business solution projects.
- Apply intensive project management methodology knowledge and hands-on experience to ensure successful delivery.
- Drive digital transformation as a business partner to various business units and back offices, balancing all technology and IT aspects to support business growth.
- Plan and execute a long-term transformation roadmap focusing on Business and IT process re-engineering, operational improvement, and solutions across E-Commerce, CRM, BI, ERP, POS, WMS, S&OP, RPA, SAP/non-SAP, and other digital initiatives.
- Propose new initiatives to senior management to continually improve business and IT performance.
Strategy, Alignment, and Stakeholder Management
- Closely collaborate with all Business Units to deeply understand their strategy and directions, providing expert consultancy on IT Solutions.
- Manage the IT & Transformation investment plan and business case development to secure senior management approval.
- Identify business needs and work across business units and back offices to deliver a coherent set of transformation activities with a clear Return on Investment (ROI).
- Coordinate with Global (Japan) and Regional (Singapore) teams on the execution of major initiatives including S&OP, ERP, CRM, E-COMMERCE, and IT Security projects. (Approx. 80% regional/global projects, 20% local projects).
- Manage a diverse range of local projects, including BI projects, Beauty Connect, POS (Cegid) enhancements (e.g., tax/invoice, pricing interfaces), CRM/SAP BI reporting, and E-commerce integrations (e.g., Shopee MCL).
Team, Vendor, and Financial Management
- Manage team resources (including 7 outsourced personnel across SAP and Non-SAP), internal stakeholders, and third-party services.
- Oversee the overall financial management of the team, focusing on budget, resource management, and cost reduction projects for IT Application and Solutions services.
- Lead Ticketing Management and Root Cause Analysis processes to categorize issues, identify root causes, and drive continuous improvement.
- Act as the IT Lead/Project Manager for key systems, including SAP (FI, CO, OTC, P2P, MM, SD) and Non-SAP systems (POS Cegid, CRM beauty connect, WMS, E-commerce, SAP BI, RFID, etc.).
Qualifications
- Nationality: Thai Nationality.
- Education: Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
- 10+ years of extensive IT management experience, preferably within a diversified business organization such as Trading, FMCG, Retail, or other related complicated business sectors.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in managing the development and implementation of multiple, complex projects.
- Proven track record in successfully delivering large-scale IT transformation projects and effectively functioning as a business partner.
Technical Expertise:
- Good knowledge of Trading/Retail/FMCG IT Solutions; experience in the Retail Business is a significant plus.
- Strong working experience with major enterprise systems, including SAP, ERP, POS, WMS, S&OP, CRM, E-COMMERCE, and DWH & BI.
- Practical experience in specific systems like SAP (MM, SD, FICO) and Non-SAP systems (e.g., CRM, POS Cegid, SAP BI) is required.
Leadership & Soft Skills:
- Excellent Communication skills (written and verbal) in English is essential for interacting with global and regional teams.
- Demonstrated strength in Partner Management and Vendor Management.
- High level of business awareness and strong understanding of business requirements.
- Ability to develop project approach and plan to manage the end-to-end lifecycle, including stakeholder management.
- Self-motivated to stay current with new technology developments and an understanding of information legislation (e.g., Data Protection Act).
