Human Resources Manager (Plant HR Operations)

Salary: ฿‎100,000 – ฿‎140,000 depending on Performance and Experience with competitive allowances.

Our client, a multinational manufacturing company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join their team. The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling all Plant HR activities, as well as implementing an HR strategy development and management plan. This role will cover talent sourcing, talent development, succession planning, performance management, competence development, compensation & benefits, plant safety, and employee relations with a focus on continuous improvement and organizational enhancement.

Location: Rayong

Responsibilities:

  • Control and monitor the full spectrum of Plant HR, working closely with the Plant Director and department managers to ensure the delivery of HR practices and processes aligned with the business strategies.
  • Drive HR projects and initiatives that comply with global policies and guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with internal control objectives, local labor regulations, and global HR policies and guidelines.
  • Actively handle employee relation matters, consult with holding HR teams, and serve as the main point of contact for all employees regarding HR policies and employment matters.
  • Support the implementation of competence-based recruitment processes and tools, collaborating with managers in the selection process.
  • Review employees’ payroll and perform benefit administration, including enrollment, termination, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, and communication of information to employees.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements related to HR, safety, and environment, including OSHA, ISO14001, and corporate policies and procedures.
  • Review and analyze training needs, closely cooperating with hiring managers to define appropriate training courses and development activities.
  • Advise, coach, and support managers in implementing people management processes, including but not limited to performance and competence reviews, talent reviews.
  • Collaborate closely with regional/global HR teams to follow up on market trends in remuneration, compensation, and benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with global guidelines and local legislation, while maintaining a competitive reward structure.
  • Work on employer branding communication internally and externally.
  • Maintain Human Resources Information System records and compile reports from the database.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in related fields.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience managing all spectrums of Plant HR Operations, HRM, and HRD within the automotive or related multinational industry.
  • High energy, pro-active, and positive working attitude, with strong negotiation, influencing skills, and motivation-building capabilities.
  • Professional, approachable, and competent in dealing with difficult situations.
  • Key leadership competencies: customer focus, priority setting, developing direct reports and others, integrity and trust, perseverance, drive for results, and conflict management.
  • Broad range and depth of Factory/Plant HR operational experience within a changing and fast-paced environment is advantageous.
  • Good communication skills in English and ability to collaborate with the global/regional team as a Country HR Representative.
  • Experience delivering HR-related business in multinational environments with strong knowledge in HR and labor law, strategic thinking, excellent communication, and coaching skills.
